Acceptance

By installing or using GrowChronicle (the "app") or growchronicle.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

What GrowChronicle is

GrowChronicle is a general-purpose horticultural record-keeping tool: a private journal for logging feeds, measurements, schedules and harvests for plants you grow. It is content-neutral — it doesn't know or control what you cultivate.

Lawful use is your responsibility

You are solely responsible for what you grow and for complying with all laws and regulations that apply to you, in your jurisdiction. GrowChronicle does not encourage, facilitate or endorse the cultivation of any plant that is illegal where you live. We accept no responsibility or liability for how you use the app or for anything you choose to cultivate, record or do.

Not professional advice

Drying and storage guides, feeding suggestions, calculators, warnings and any other informational content in the app are general horticultural information provided for convenience. They are not professional, agronomic, legal or safety advice, and may not suit your specific plants, products or conditions. Always follow the manufacturer's label for any nutrient or chemical product. You use the app's information and calculations at your own risk — we are not responsible for crop loss, product misuse or any other outcome.

Your data

Your records are stored on your device only (see the Privacy Policy). That means you are responsible for your data: if your device is lost, damaged or reset without a backup you exported, your records cannot be recovered by us — we never had them.

No warranty

The app and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or any loss of data, crops, revenue or profits, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app or website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Intellectual property

The app, its design and its content are the developer's intellectual property. GrowChronicle™ is a trade mark of M.T. Kornaus (UK trade mark application no. UK00004412864). Your own records and photos are yours.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the app evolves (for example when optional online features launch). The current version will always be at this address, with its effective date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
